Student For A Day
Are you interested in accompanying prospective bachelor students at Tilburg School of Economics and Management in a mentor group during Student for a Day and besides that, earning some extra money?
On the 14th of March 2018, Student for a Day will take place for the following Bachelor programs:
- Fiscale Economie
- Econometrics & Operations Research
On the 15th of March 2018, Student for a Day will take place for the following Bachelor programs:
- International Business Administration
- Economie & Bedrijfseconomie
Requirement and Responsibilities
During the Student for a Day, the prospective students will follow several trial lectures at Tilburg University. During the lunch the students get the opportunity to ask you their questions. After that, they will receive information about student life in Tilburg which will take place in the city center of Tilburg. For mentors the day will end with a dinner in one of the restaurants of Tilburg to thank you for your help with Student for a Day.
As a mentor, you will accompany the prospective students in groups of about fifteen students during the whole day. You will help them with the different elements of the program, are open for any questions they might have and willing to share your own experiences.
If you are a student in one of the six TiSEM Bachelors mentioned above, you can subscribe as a mentor. If you choose to volunteer as a mentor during this Student for a Day, we ask you to be available during the whole day. To thank you for being a mentor, you will receive a VVV-cheque with a value of €25, free dinner in one of the restaurants in Tilburg, and you are invited for a drink in Cafe Philip afterwards.
